A healthcare facility in Galloway, NJ is seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist for a contract position. This role involves working in a patient-facing retail pharmacy environment, providing essential pharmaceutical care and support.
Schedule:
- Sunday: Every Sunday or every other Sunday
- Monday: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Tuesday: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Counsel patients about their medications, ensuring understanding and safe use
- Administer vaccines and immunizations as needed
- Support daily pharmacy operations to maintain efficient workflow
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and staff to uphold a safe and compliant environment
- Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active New Jersey Pharmacist License in good standing
- Certified Immunizer credential is required
- Previous experience working in a patient-facing pharmacy setting
- Ability to work evenings and weekend shifts comfortably
