Full-Time Caregiver – Merrillville & Crown Point, IN

$15–$19/hour | Paid Training | Flexible Scheduling | Benefits

Firefly Home Care is growing, and we’re looking for compassionate, dependable Full-Time Caregivers to join our team serving the Merrillville and Crown Point communities.

Current Opportunity in Merrillville & Crown Point

We are currently building our caregiver team in the Merrillville and Crown Point area , including ZIP codes 46410, 46411, and 46307 .

We are actively growing our client base in this territory. At this time, caregivers may begin on an as-needed basis while we continue developing local client opportunities. Joining our team now gives you the opportunity to establish yourself with Firefly and be positioned for more consistent hours as new clients begin services.

Preferred availability: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

What You'll Do

Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living
Provide companionship and emotional support
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
Promote client safety, comfort, and independence
Follow individualized care plans
Document care as needed

Ability to pass required background screenings
Previous caregiving experience is preferred, but not required
