Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our dynamic team in St. Michael, MN. If you have a passion for precision machining and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components that meet our clients' specifications while ensuring efficiency and safety in the workplace.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members and engineers to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine setup.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
