Wound Ostomy Nurse (RN) – Local Contract | Newport Beach, CA

• Job Title: Wound Ostomy Nurse (RN)
• Location: Newport Beach, CA
• Assignment Type: Local Contract
• Contract Dates: June 22, 2026 – September 12, 2026
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Work Setting: 100% Onsite

• Active California RN License in good standing
• CWON (Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse) Certification – Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 4 years of clinical nursing experience
• Experience providing specialized wound and ostomy care

• Assess, treat, and manage patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound and ostomy management
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Experienced Wound & Ostomy RN
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Team-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills
Comfortable using EMR systems and clinical technology
Passionate about delivering high-quality patient care

• Local travel between assigned locations may be required
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team

• Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends
