Senior Structural Analyst

To support high-stakes nuclear projects, the contract Senior Structural Analyst will analyze mechanical performance of reactor components and systems, ensuring compliance with structural codes and standards while working remotely. Key responsibilities Perform mechanical analyses of reactor structures and nuclear components to verify compliance with relevant codes and standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary engineering teams to optimize nuclear component designs Document analysis results, conduct peer reviews, and mentor team members to enhance team skills and quality standards Required qualifications B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited university 8+ years of experience with a B.S. degree, 5+ years with an M.S. degree, or 3+ years with a Ph.D. degree Proficient in finite element analysis and modeling tools, particularly ANSYS and SolidWorks Strong understanding of solid mechanics, fracture mechanics, and relevant pressure equipment design codes Experience in seismic analysis and familiarity with quality assurance requirements in the nuclear industry
