Quality Manager

Zimmer Biomet seeks a Quality Manager to provide technical and administrative oversight of quality assurance, inspection, and defect prevention for medical devices and spare parts. The role ensures product conformance to regulatory standards, coordinates quality planning, and supports both manufacturing and global servicing operations.

Responsibilities

• Define quality assurance requirements from engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures, inspection methods, and acceptance standards
• Oversee calibration program maintenance for inspection tools and gauges per GMP requirements
• Establish data collection and reporting systems to meet regulatory and management needs
• Manage nonconforming product disposition and corrective action processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline with 6-8 years quality experience
• Advanced degree with 4-6 years quality experience acceptable
• Knowledge of FDA QMSR, ISO standards, and government specifications
• Experience interfacing with FDA and regulatory agencies
• ASQ Quality Engineering Certification and/or Lead Auditor Certification preferred
• Team leadership and personnel management capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: $128,000-$157,000 base salary per year plus performance bonuses
