Caregiver Personal Care Aide PCA

Role: Personal Care Aide providing in-home care services to clients. Responsibilities Include Following client care plans and completing daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets. Assisting with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, and meal preparation, including special diets. Providing limited transfers, using mobility equipment, and encouraging client self-help. Maintaining safety, infection control, and a clean environment; reporting hazards or changes in client condition. Respecting client confidentiality, privacy, and rights. Assisting with household tasks like laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping. Monitoring client safety, only assisting with medication self-administration, and avoiding tasks beyond scope or not in care plans. Reporting suspected abuse, neglect, unsafe living conditions, or privacy violations. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma preferred; ability to read and write required. At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience. Must be 18 or older. Ability to provide compassionate, quality care while respecting client boundaries and safety protocols. #J-18808-Ljbffr
