Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU

RN – NICU

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Schedule: 3 Days/Week | 12 Hours/Day | 36 Hours/Week

Pay Range: $60-$65/hr.

Important Notes

• Auto-offer position
• 2 openings available
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Floating required within facility to like units (Pediatrics/PICU)
• No On-Call
• Scrub Color: Navy

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
• Minimum 1 year of NICU or related specialty experience
• AHA BLS Certification
• AHA NRP Certification (AHA Only)
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact License

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
• Assess patients and prioritize nursing care
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care
• Perform ongoing patient assessments using the physician's diagnosis and functional health framework
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
• Manage patient care throughout the assigned shift
• Document care according to standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
• Promote evidence-based nursing practice and support innovations in care delivery
• Provide patient-centered care aligned with the professional nursing practice model
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
