About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Physical Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 1st 8 hours Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday Experience: Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience preferred License: Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice required Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required; only if obtained license on or after January 2016 or foreign equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required Description: Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions. Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups. Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools and establishes individualized treatment plans for patients. Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques. Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties. Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines. Supervises assigned assistants. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Committed to the safety and wellbeing of associates and patients. Requires all associates to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
