WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As a Management and Program Analyst, you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:

• Conduct comprehensive management studies to evaluate organizational programs, policies, business processes, and management systems for effectiveness, efficiency, accountability, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Lead center-wide improvement initiatives to strengthen organizational performance, workforce responsiveness, and business operations in response to emerging programmatic, legislative, or regulatory requirements.
• Advise senior leadership on strategic workforce and organizational planning initiatives involving human capital, organizational structure, workforce development, and emerging management priorities.
• Direct the day-to-day work of subordinate staff by establishing priorities, assigning work, evaluating performance, and ensuring equitable and effective workforce practices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:

• Identifying operational and/or administrative problems, assess contributing factors, and develop data-driven recommendations for organizational improvement.
• Developing strategic solutions and/or implementation plans that address workforce, resource, process, or organizational changes affecting mission requirements and long-range priorities.
• Analyzing organizational and/or workforce issues to develop recommendations, implementation strategies, and policy solutions that improve organizational effectiveness and support long-range mission requirements.
• Coaching and/or advising employees on administrative and workplace matters, identifying developmental needs, and implementing solutions to improve individual and organizational performance.

If such experience is on a part-time basis, you must provide the average number of hours worked per week as well as the beginning and ending dates of the experience so it can be fully credited.
