Emergency Room Registered Nurse

The position requires a Registered Nurse to work in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and the ability to manage multiple patients effectively. The unit is designated as a Level III Trauma Center with 30 beds and trauma bays. Weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory. There are no call or standby requirements; no floating to other units is expected. Nurses will participate in competency exams related to medication administration and dysrhythmia recognition. Traveling nurses are expected to pass these competency exams with a minimum score of 80%. The dress code for nurses is dark blue or white scrubs. Additional specific orientation may be required for the unit.
