Austin Bridge & Road Asphalt Roller OperatorAustin Bridge & Road is currently seeking experienced Asphalt Roller Operators HMAC for our North Texas Asphalt projects. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us.The Asphalt Roller Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the roller. This position operates a self-propelled machine with either steel wheels and pneumatic tires which is used to compact and smooth all bituminous materials. May oil, grease or otherwise service and make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed. Performs other related duties.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily equipment maintenance and inspectionsOperate equipment in a safe and efficient mannerAssist paving crew with site preparation and any other activity as neededParticipate as a vital team member, contributing towards Austin's successAttend daily safety meetingsFollow safety policies and proceduresWork hours adjusted to meet the project's needs; days, nights and weekendsAble to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperaturesOther duties as assignedQualifications1+ years of experience operating asphalt equipmentMust have a strong commitment to jobsite safetyDiligent in demonstrating safe work practices.Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
