Quick Facts Location: Portland, OR (9205 Southwest Barnes Road, ZIP 97225) Start Date: 09/01/2026 Duration: Ongoing Shift Options: 12-hour or 24-hour in-house call shifts (7:30am-7:30pm / 7:30pm-7:30am) Weekly Hours: 36-40 hours (3-5 shifts per month) Employment Type: Locum / Per Diem Licenses/Certifications: Active Oregon license, DEA, BLS Experience: BC in OB-GYN, relevant case logs from past 24 months Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $1.00 per hour (rate to be confirmed upon application) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and related reimbursements available when applicable What You’ll Do Provide inpatient OB-GYN care, including emergency and routine services Cover 12-hour or 24-hour in-house call shifts, including night and day coverage Handle obstetric and gynecological cases with clinical expertise Collaborate with hospital staff and other providers to ensure seamless patient care Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in case logs Participate in facility-led virtual interviews and orientation processes Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state/federal regulations What You Need Required: Active Oregon medical license Board Certification in OB-GYN DEA certification BLS certification 24+ months case logs demonstrating activity in OB-GYN Preferred: Local Portland candidates highly recommended Availability for scheduled interviews on specified dates About the Assignment This position involves inpatient obstetric and gynecological care at a reputable Portland hospital. The provider will deliver focused inpatient services during in-house call shifts, with options for day or night coverage. The hospital provides onsite accommodations for providers working overnight shifts, ensuring comfort during long hours. Credentialing is estimated to take approximately 90 days.
