Resiliency is a must in this position to be successful.As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will:Perform a wide range of duties relating to the origination of residential mortgage loans.Maintain knowledge of and advises applicants on available loan products, processing procedures, and underwriting guidelines.Meet standards and objectives defined by management for mortgage loan sales and cross-sells other Credit Union products.Work with a team who values people over money. We DO NOT turn away loans based off their size.Maintain high levels of customer service while managing each applicant, vendor, and department expectations.Establish and maintain professional partnerships with realtors and others within the community which benefits the Credit Union.Have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and/or 2 years of progressive experience in lending related positions.Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.Be able to demonstrate strong resiliency.We want you to know:Texell offers an excellent benefits package, including health, dental, vision, 401K with a dollar for dollar match up to 6%, and paid vacation and sick leave.Texell holds company events such as our annual Awards Banquet, Employee Family Day, 4th of July Fiesta, and tons more!We participate in sporting events such as the annual Corporate Challenge with the City of Temple (and we are a competitive bunch)!Texell is passionate about helping our community and those in need.
