Cider- Civil/Mechanical Equipment Operator (Non Driver)

Job Overview: Job Summary Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a skilled Civil/Mechanical Equipment Operator for our solar farm construction projects. This role involves operating a variety of heavy machinery for site preparation, trenching, pile driving, and other civil and mechanical tasks, without the need for commercial driving. Job Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, forklifts, telehandlers, pile drivers, and other construction machinery safely and efficiently. Perform site preparation tasks including clearing, grading, and trenching for underground utilities and foundations. Assist with the installation and assembly of mechanical components for solar array structures. Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment. Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications. Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other team members. Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions to maintenance personnel. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion. Job Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy civil and/or mechanical construction equipment. Proficiency in operating multiple types of equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, forklifts, telehandlers, and pile drivers. Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and protocols. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans is a plus. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Reliable transportation to and from job sites (non-CDL required). High school diploma or equivalent. OSHA 10 or 30 certification is preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
