Medical Device Assembler (1st/2nd Shift)

Responsibilities Process polymer materials to compose, test, or apply on medical devices per approved manufacturing procedures. Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures. Perform in‑process quality checks on sub‑assemblies and finished products. Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures. Participate in line meetings as needed. Work with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements. Maintain clean‑room integrity by using proper attire and adhering to clean‑room environment practice and procedures. Accurately record and maintain documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor (e.g., timecards), and special projects. Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities. Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies, QSR, and FDA regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of intensive microscope‑based experience in a medical device environment. Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with small plastic and metal components in a high‑volume manufacturing setting. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Basic math skills, including use of a calculator and ability to operate basic work‑related technology. Computer literacy required; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite desired. Willing to work either 1st shift (7‑3pm) or 2nd shift (3:30pm‑11:30pm) as scheduled. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated base pay range for this position is $45,100.00 – $73,370.00. Eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). Eligible to participate in the Company’s long‑term incentive program. Vacation: 120 hours per calendar year. Sick time: 40 hours per calendar year (skyboard). In Colorado: 48 hours per calendar year; in Washington: 56 hours per calendar year. Holiday pay, including floating holidays: 13 days per calendar year. Work, Personal and Family Time: up to 40 hours per calendar year. Parental Leave: 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care of a child. Bereavement Leave: 240 hours for an immediate family member; 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year. Caregiver Leave: 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period. Volunteer Leave: 32 hours per calendar year. Military Spouse Time‑Off: 80 hours per calendar year.
