Position Title: Mechanical Assembler / Welder
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Position Summary

Talent Connect Solutions is seeking a dependable and motivated Mechanical Assembler / Welder to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling mechanical components, fabricating metal parts, performing welding tasks, and ensuring finished products meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and performing MIG welding in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and equipment according to blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform MIG welding on steel and other metal materials as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed assemblies and welds to ensure quality standards are met.
• Grind, cut, fit, and prepare materials for assembly and welding.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with other manufacturing and production tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical assembly and welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with MIG welding required; TIG welding experience is a plus.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, welding fumes, and moving equipment.
