Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Hospice – Inpatient Unit (Night Shift)

JourneyCare Hospice is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for our Inpatient Unit in Barrington, IL. This is a night shift role with a consistent, predictable schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Pay and Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM - Includes every other weekend and 3 holidays per year. Base pay: Up to $26/hour - based on experience. Night shift differentials: $1.25/hour for weekday nights and $2.50/hour for weekend nights.

What You'll Do: Provide personal care to hospice patients in the inpatient unit. Assist with bathing, grooming, oral care, and linen changes. Ensure patient comfort and safety, including proper use of equipment. Observe and report patient condition and any changes to the RN. Document care provided in accordance with policies and standards. Support patients, families, and visitors with professionalism and compassion.

Qualifications: Current CNA certification in the state of Illinois. Active listing on the state nurse aide registry with a clear record. Current CPR certification. At least 18 years of age (or as required by state law). Valid driver's license and insured vehicle or reliable transportation preferred.
