Director of Medical Staff Services

Large Acute Care Hospital – California

A large, nationally recognized acute care hospital in California is confidentially seeking a Director of Medical Staff Services to lead its Medical Staff Office and oversee all credentialing and re-credentialing operations.

Requirements:

CPCS or CPMSM certification required
Bachelor's degree preferred
5+ years medical staff experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of Joint Commission, Title 22, CMS, and HIPAA standards
Echo software experience a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Direct all Medical Staff Office functions, credentialing, and Peer Review activities
Maintain Medical Staff Bylaws, files, and compliance with regulatory standards
Serve as liaison between Medical Staff leadership, physicians, and hospital administration
