Compliance Specialist

Frontgrade is seeking a Compliance Specialist to support the coordination and execution of international shipments in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and company policy. The specialist is responsible for preparing documentation, tracking shipments, and ensuring adherence to import/export requirements under the supervision of senior team members.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure company-wide awareness of internal and external laws and/or regulations
• Assist with company-wide compliance training, as needed
• Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to inform decision-makers
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications
• Provide administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies; completing projects in support of compliance auditors
• Enhance the compliance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in import/export, logistics, or supply chain (internships acceptable)
• Bachelor's degree in international business, logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Exposure to trade compliance concepts (HTS classification, ECCN, Incoterms)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing, deadline-driven environment
