Registered Nurse (RN)

Kahala Nui, considered Hawaii's premier Senior Living Community, is looking for a Part‑Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team!

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Registered Nurse (RN) you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating all nursing care prescribed for and provided to residents. Note: We accept New Graduate Registered Nurses!

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

Typical Shift: Sunday, Thursday, Friday; DAY (6:00AM - 2:30PM) Must have flexible availability to work day and evening shifts as needed. Must be available Sunday through Saturday, including weekends and holidays.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Valid state of Hawaii Registered Nurse license in good standing. Availability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with residents, families, and associates. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve problems under minimal supervision. Must have flexibility to work all shifts including day, night, overnight, weekends and holidays as needed. Proof of annual tuberculosis clearance in accordance with state regulations. Proof of valid CPR and First Aid AED certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Minimum 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare, long-tern, assisted living, or related setting. Supervisory or charge nurse experience.
