What You'll Do

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders in a long-term care setting.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on standardized assessments and evidence-based practice.
• Monitor patient progress, modify therapies as needed, and document outcomes accurately.
• Provide counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members on patient care strategies.
• Complete comprehensive discharge summaries and maintain detailed documentation.
• Support and supervise CFYs or student SLPs as required.

What You Need

• Active ASHA and State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred
• Ability to adhere to clinical practice standards and ethical guidelines

• Experience in long-term care or similar settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
