Service Manager

Field Operations & Customer Service Leadership Our recruiting firm is partnering with a well-established, growing services organization to identify a Service Team Leader to oversee daily field operations, lead a team of technicians, and help deliver an exceptional customer experience. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, solving problems, and ensuring high‑quality service delivery. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in the field, builds strong customer relationships, and leads by example. What You’ll Do Lead & Develop the Team Supervise, coach, and support a team of approximately 10-12 field technicians Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and training Support hiring, onboarding, and employee development efforts Promote a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement Serve as a key leadership resource and provide operational support when management is unavailable Oversee Field Operations Spend significant time in the field conducting site visits, inspections, and quality audits Monitor technician performance and ensure services are completed to company standards Provide coaching and corrective guidance when service issues arise Assist with service coverage, scheduling challenges, emergencies, and missed appointments Coordinate technician assignments and weekly workload distribution Deliver Exceptional Customer Service Act as a primary point of contact for customer questions and concerns Visit customer locations regularly to ensure satisfaction Resolve service-related issues professionally and efficiently Build and maintain strong customer relationships Administrative & Operational Support Manage technician timesheets and support payroll processes Maintain accurate service records and documentation Utilize CRM and operational systems to track activities and performance Assist with accounts receivable collection efforts as needed Partner with leadership on process improvements and operational goals What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability to work independently while leading a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) Preferred Qualifications Experience in field service, facilities services, route-based operations, logistics, janitorial services, pest control, maintenance, or similar industries Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or comparable business systems Dispatching, scheduling, or route planning experience Quality assurance or field auditing experience The Ideal Candidate Leads through coaching and mentorship Takes ownership and proactively solves problems Is comfortable working both in the field and in an operational leadership capacity Enjoys developing employees and helping teams succeed Understands the importance of customer satisfaction and service excellence Is willing to step in when needed to support the team and business objectives Frequent travel to customer locations Combination of field, customer-facing, and administrative responsibilities Fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities Ability to lift and carry up to 25-30 pounds Occasional extended hours may be required to support operational needs Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually Quarterly performance bonus opportunity Company vehicle provided Company gas card provided Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits 401(k) with company match Ongoing training and professional development Career advancement opportunities within a growing organization If you’re a hands‑on leader who enjoys coaching teams, improving operations, and delivering an outstanding customer experience, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr AppleOne Employment Services
