Electro-Mechanical Technician II

Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established medical device manufacturer in the Youngsville area who is looking for an Electrical Test Technician to join their team. This is a great direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics for the assembly of intricate devices with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct electrical testing, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of non-functioning components to include field returned units.
• Perform soldering and bonding of electrical components and inspect soldering to ensure IPC standards.
• Perform wire cutting, crimping, and stripping with hand tools or machinery.
• Interface directly with customers to understand and address their technical concerns.
• Utilize software tools for diagnostics, reporting, and documentation.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or degrees are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Test Technician or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to read and understand electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Hands-on experience with soldering and bonding of electrical components.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
