Business Analyst
Apex Systems
Position Overview: This role will serve as a strategic liaison between OES, regional field services consultants and managers, internal cross-office teams, and vendor partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting business areas to complete business requirements, perform user acceptance testing, supporting end user documentation and training, with proven leadership experience in cross-functional environments. Key Responsibilities: • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication • Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external consultants. • Act as the primary point of contact for field consultants regarding application issues. • Communicate issue status, resolutions, and updates to relevant stakeholders. • Operational & Technical Liaison • Manage and prioritize operational support requests and enhancement tickets in Azure DevOps. • Collaborate with vendor teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues. • Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements. • Leadership & Team Coordination • Lead and mentor a team of business analysts. • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure alignment with project goals. • Facilitate and lead requirement-gathering sessions with both business and technical teams. • Documentation & Knowledge Management • Maintain comprehensive documentation on the project SharePoint site. • Ensure all process changes and decisions are well-documented and accessible. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 4 + years of proven experience as a business analyst. • 2 + years of experience working with grant management systems or government-funded programs. • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. • Leadership capabilities in cross-functional team environments. • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Office. Desired Interview Dates/Times: Thursday July 16th, 2026: 1:00 - 2:00 PM, 2:30 - 3:30 PM, 4:00 - 5:00 PM Friday July 17th, 2026: 9:00 - 10:00 AM, 10:30 - 11:30 AM, 1:00 - 2:00 PM, 1:30 - 2:30 PM, 3:30 - 4:30 PM 1 st round interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams with a potential 2 nd round in-person. Desired Start Date: Monday August 3 rd ; start date is flexible Work location is hybrid, 2 days in office are required (Tuesday & Wednesday preferred) and 3 days working from home.(Candidate can be full time in office, if desired.)
