As the Human Resources Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the HR Manager and company leadership across all areas of human resources operations, including recruiting, onboarding, workforce development, employee engagement, training initiatives, and HR administration. You will help support career growth opportunities, strengthen employee retention efforts, and contribute to building a strong and inclusive team environment across the organization. What We Will Provide You Maine‑based company where you’re known and supported 100% employer‑paid health insurance Retirement match and profit sharing Paid time off and paid holidays Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities What You Will Be Doing Support recruiting efforts for field, skilled trade, administrative, and professional positions Attend career fairs, school events, industry events, and recruiting functions Represent GFC at high schools, trade schools, colleges, and workforce development organizations Support internship, apprenticeship, mentorship, and workforce development initiatives Assist with onboarding, orientation, training coordination, and employee development programs Build strong relationships with employees to support retention and career growth opportunities Maintain employee files, HR systems, certifications, training records, and compliance documentation Assist with benefits administration, payroll support tasks, certified payroll setup, and wage classifications Coordinate employee engagement activities including appreciation events, BBQs, and company gatherings Support managers with performance documentation and HR‑related processes Track workforce development metrics, recruiting effectiveness, and retention initiatives Collaborate with HR, Safety, Operations, and Marketing teams on company initiatives and special projects Maintain confidentiality while supporting HR operations and employee relations What You Will Need To Succeed Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience preferred Construction industry experience is a plus Basic understanding of employment laws and HR compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/timekeeping systems Strong organizational and time‑management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities High level of professionalism and confidentiality Reliable, proactive, and solution‑oriented mindset Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally Great Falls Construction provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, or genetics. #J-18808-Ljbffr Great Falls Construction
