This role gives you broad exposure across the manufacturing operation, working closely with the Manufacturing Controller and collaborating with Engineering, Estimating, Production, and Sales at a cutting edge, state-of-the art facility. In this high-impact role, your cost accounting expertise will prove crucial to analyzing labor, material, and overhead costs across multiple production lines. You will prepare departmental KPIs and budgets, analyze actual versus standard costs, and work closely with Estimating and Quoting to assess project costs and projected margins. This role would suit a Cost Accountant from a manufacturing background, looking for greater responsibility, broad operational exposure, and a defined progression path into a Senior Cost Accountant position. The Role: Prepare and analyze departmental KPIs, budgets, and financial performance, reporting findings to Department and Plant Managers. Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs across production lines, investigating variances and actual versus standard costs. Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Estimating, and Quoting to improve cost accuracy, production standards, project margins, and profitability. The Candidate: Proven cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong experience analyzing labor, material, overhead, budgets, KPIs, and production variances.
