Cardiothoracic Radiologist Remote/Hybrid

The UC Davis Department of Radiology performs imaging and therapeutic procedures for patients throughout Northern California. Our radiological services are timely, cost-effective, appropriate and of the highest quality. Routine and specialized imaging studies, visceral and vascular intervention procedures, and contemporary neuro-interventional services are available. The department's missions focus on education, imaging-related research, and achieving the professional goals of our students, faculty and staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Active and Unrestricted California Medical License

Active and Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification

Board Certified in Medical Specialty

American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), or UC Davis Health CPR

Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Degree

Completion of US Residency Program in Diagnostic Radiology

Completion of a US Residency Program

Strong political and institutional acumen sufficient to accomplish needed action in a complex public research university environment.

Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills. Skills to analyze needs, establishing priorities, and provide appropriate medical care and preventive medicine services to the Campus community.

Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.

Computer and keyboarding skills to use Electronic Medical Records software program.

Preferred Qualifications:

Radiology Subspecialty Fellowship Certification in Cardiothoracic Radiology

Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic

Clinical expertise in all aspects of Cardiothoracic, including interpreting chest radiographs, cardiothoracic CT and MR and chest CTA and MRA.

Knowledge of University and campus policies and procedures preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills in large and small group settings.

Key Responsibilities:

100% - CLINICAL Department Overview:

Interpret imaging for all aspects of cardiothoracic services, including interpreting chest radiographs, cardiothoracic CT and MR and chest CTA and MRACaring for Cardiothoracic patients.

Work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.

All areas of responsibilities will relate to the delivery of clinical care that is timely, appropriate and of the highest quality.

Salary or Pay Range: $ 535,000 to $545,000, plus productivity incentives

Salary Frequency: Monthly

This position is 100% hybrid/remote; flexible
