Summary:
- At Hawaii Senior Care, we provide quality home health care services to patients throughout Oahu.
- We are passionate about our professional and personalized care, and work hard to meet, and exceed, our clients’ expectations.
- The Office Manager shall oversee day-to-day operations, as well as the planning, coordination and management of all office activities, in accordance with State and Federal laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
- A successful Office Manager will be a trusted leader and a highly motivated individual who will lead our rapidly growing company.
Essential Functions:
Staff Management:
- Demonstrates strong written/verbal communication skills to foster a safe and efficient working environment. The office manager will also be a primary point of contact for clients.
- Develops initiatives to improve operational efficiencies and ensure employee compliance with company policy.
- Develops daily/weekly/monthly reports to track company objectives.
- Develops employee improvement plans to foster employee growth.
- Develops initial and continuing employee training for non-clinical office staff.
- Ensures office safety to protect client and caregiver confidentiality and the integrity of the company.
- Demonstrates the ability to make informed decisions to quickly resolve problems.
- Must be able to work independently.
Information Management:
- Coordinates and manages client on-boarding and off-boarding.
- Coordinates and manages caregiver on-boarding and off-boarding.
- Oversees office staff to ensure completion and tracking of references, health screenings, criminal background checks, and drug screens for new hires and existing staff if applicable.
- Ensures that all information is kept confidential in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Customer Service:
- Assures that all telephone traffic is managed in a professional, customer service-oriented manner, and is relayed to the appropriate people in a timely manner.
- Ensures that all customer commitments are met on time.
- Responsible for customer service training for clerical and administrative support staff.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree desired.
Experience Requirements:
- Two (2) years of office management experience required.
Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrates organizational, written/composition skills, and verbal skills.
- Demonstrates typing skills, filing skills, and word processing skills (Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
