POSITIONSUMMARY Reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer, the Sales Manager is a results-driven professional who will drive growth through sales programs, customer relationship development, and new business prospecting across Balfour & Co.'s full product portfolio, including rings, regalia, diplomas, covers, photos, and yearbooks.This role requires a customer-focused professional with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of managing multiple priorities while delivering exceptional service. Experience within the educational market is preferred. Success requires a blend of: sales execution, customer partnership, event logistics coordination, and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. ESSENTIALPOSITIONFUNCTIONS SalesStrategy&Execution Developandimplementsalesstrategiestoachieveregionalandorganizationalsalesgoals. Applystructuredsellingprotocols,includingcallplanning,pipelinemanagement,andreporting. Lead,coach,andmentorsalesteammemberstomeetandexceedbusinesstargets. CustomerRelationships&Service Collaboratewithcustomerstoassessandanticipateevolvingneeds. Addresspricingandservicedeliveryissuestoensurequalityandcustomersatisfaction. Buildandsustainlong-term,profitablerelationshipsthroughtailoredcustomerengagement. Events,Reporting&Cross-FunctionalCollaboration Plan and coordinate event logistics for ring events and other sales initiatives, and monitor key performance metrics Prepareregular,data-drivenupdatesforseniorleadershipusingExcelandPowerPoint. Participateincross-functionalmeetingswithrelatedareas,suchasmarketing,operations,andproduct,toalignsaleseffortswithbroaderbusinessgoals. Supportstrategicinitiativesandotherresponsibilitiesasassignedbyseniorleadership. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor'sdegreeorhighereducationisrequired. 2-5 years of experience selling into education market or selling consumer goods; prefer B2B, dealer, or distributor sales experience. Experienceinsalesandeventlogistics,withdemonstratedsuccessinbuildinglong-termcustomerpartnershipsanddrivingsalesexecution. AdvancedMicrosoftExcelskills(formulas,pivottables,dataanalysis,andreporting)andproficiencyinPowerPointandothercomputer/Officetools. Skilledindeliveringpersuasivesalespresentationsandbusinessupdatestoseniorleaders. Participateinbuildingsalesplansalignedwithcorporateobjectives. Provideconsistentfollow-upwithcustomersandprospectstosupportsalesexecutionandretention.
