Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid K-12 substitute teaching license accepted
• Experience working with students who have special needs and behavioral challenges is required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Knowledge of individualized education plan (IEP) processes
• Comfort with managing classrooms for middle and high school students

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and interventions tailored to students’ IEP goals
• Cultivate a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom culture
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, related service providers, and administration to ensure consistent support for students
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Implement effective classroom management strategies and adapt to students’ unique learning styles
