Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching License
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Familiarity teaching students with diverse disabilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored academic instruction and interventions to address individual student goals
• Design and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to guide student learning and progress
• Assess, monitor, and document student progress, modifying strategies as necessary
• Collaborate closely with general education staff, therapists, families, and administrators to ensure cohesive supports
• Participate actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with special education policies and practices
