Hire Up Staffing is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Integrator on behalf of a well-established, multi-generational agricultural organization in California's Central Valley.


This executive leadership opportunity is ideal for a results-driven operations professional who excels at turning strategic vision into measurable outcomes. The COO/Integrator will partner closely with executive leadership to drive operational excellence, organizational alignment, accountability, and long-term business growth across multiple business divisions.
Position Summary
The COO/Integrator serves as the operational leader of the organization, overseeing day-to-day operations while ensuring strategic initiatives are successfully executed. This individual will provide leadership across departments, drive financial performance, develop organizational talent, and establish systems that promote accountability, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development

• Lead and develop management teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and high performance.
• Coach and mentor leaders while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Ensure organizational structure supports business objectives and long-term growth.
• Promote clear communication and operational discipline throughout the organization.

Operational Leadership

• Oversee company operations and drive financial performance.
• Establish, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
• Lead annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation efforts.
• Ensure core business processes are documented, followed, and continuously improved.

Strategic Execution

• Partner closely with executive leadership to translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans.
• Lead cross-functional projects and company-wide initiatives.
• Ensure departments remain aligned with organizational priorities and goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.

Problem Solving & Decision Making

• Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges.
• Remove barriers that impact performance and execution.
• Utilize data and business insights to drive informed decision-making.
• Bring structure, clarity, and accountability to complex business situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, executive management, or business leadership roles.
• Experience within agriculture, manufacturing, food production, distribution, or other labor-intensive industries strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive organizational performance.
• Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing budgets, forecasting, and operational metrics.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution.
• Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) or similar operational frameworks is highly desirable.
• Spanish speaking
