About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead all site operations with a focus on driving operational excellence, cultural evolution, and readiness for large-scale CCS integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse range of functions, including ethanol, RNG, CHP, CNG, maintenance, engineering, EI&A, HS&E, and lab operations. This executive leadership role demands a strategic approach to operational P&L, margin management, and commodity risk oversight. The VP of Operations will also be instrumental in partnering with the CEO on key operational strategies, such as corn procurement, ethanol pricing, and operational yield performance. Candidates for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, with an MBA or equivalent executive-level business experience. A minimum of 10 years in energy, biofuels, refining, or chemical manufacturing is required, with a preference for those with over 15 years. The role calls for a leader with a strong process engineering foundation, demonstrated financial literacy, and a proven track record as a culture-builder and systems-oriented leader. The ideal candidate will have a background that includes hands-on engineering experience in an operating facility, progressing to plant leadership within the energy or chemical manufacturing sector.
