Production specialist

Production specialist\n\nTimpl has partnered with a 1 tier supplier for a global automobile manufacture\nand is seeking for a Production specialist\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n 1. Cultural Liaison: Facilitate communication and understanding of cultural\n differences among team members.\n 2. Translation Support: Assist the Production Manager with translating\n documents, both written and verbal.\n 3. Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain inventory of semi-finished and\n completed parts.\n 4. Process Analysis: Evaluate production processes, results, and downtimes to\n improve efficiency.\n 5. Operational Support: Contribute to the efficiency of production operations.\n\nEssential Functions:\n\n 1. Inventory Tracking: Create and manage daily inventory status reports.\n 2. Performance Review: Monitor and analyze daily/monthly operation and\n efficiency rates.\n 3. Equipment Management: Manage and procure equipment needed on the production\n floor (e.g., welding electrodes, air-powered tools).\n 4. Collaboration: Work closely with both Korean and the USA Supervisors to\n meet production needs.\n 5. Production Planning: Prepare and distribute daily production plans, and\n review daily results.\n 6. Engineering Changes: Manage and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)\n as needed.\n 7. Corrective Actions: Address recurring manufacturing issues affecting\n quality and efficiency.\n 8. Training: Develop and deliver training materials for new production\n personnel.\n 9. Process Improvement: Participate in and implement productivity improvement\n initiatives.\n 10. Personnel Allocation: Oversee and optimize the allocation of production\n personnel.\n 11. Cycle Time Analysis: Analyze cycle times, downtimes, and productivity for\n each line.\n 12. New Model Trials: Conduct and follow up on new model trials and FIFO\n control for ECOs.\n 13. Layout Optimization: Modify production line layouts to enhance\n productivity.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities:\n\n * Supervise production team leaders and members in the Supervisor's absence.\n\nQualifications:\n\n * Bachelor's degree required.\n * Less than 2 years of experience as a Production Specialist.\n\nPersonal Characteristics:\n\n * High energy, able to manage multiple projects and day-to-day activities.\n * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.\n * Organized, resourceful, and able to prioritize effectively.\n * Team-oriented with a participative management style.\n * Results-driven with sound judgment and the ability to balance business needs.\n\nReporting Structure:\n\n * Reports directly to the Production Manager.\n * Coordinates with Production Floor Supervisors, team leaders, and members.
