In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will support advanced endoscopic technologies, surgical instrumentation, and visualization systems directly within a hospital environment. Working closely with Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing (SPD), and BioMed teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring equipment readiness, supporting clinical workflows, and helping healthcare professionals deliver exceptional patient care. This role offers daily exposure to cutting‑edge medical technology while providing a strong foundation for future opportunities across sales, leadership, training, technical support, and other areas within KARL STORZ. Shift: Monday to Friday, 11AM-7:30PM What You'll Do Provide on‑site support and expert service to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams to ensure seamless surgical operations. Set up, inspect, and troubleshoot video towers, camera systems, light sources, and other KARL STORZ technologies. Support surgical procedures by identifying and resolving equipment‑related issues in real time. Coordinate repairs, exchanges, and service requests while maintaining visibility into equipment status and inventory. Transport, clean, sterilize, package, and inspect surgical instruments to ensure procedural readiness and compliance. Build trusted relationships with hospital personnel by delivering exceptional service and technical support. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in healthcare, sterile processing, surgical technology, medical device support, sales, customer service, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across clinical teams. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, service‑focused environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting and transporting equipment up to 25 pounds. Nice to Have: Associate's degree or higher. CRCST certification or willingness to obtain certification. Experience supporting surgical instruments, endoscopy equipment, or medical devices.
