Role Description The Senior Client Service Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Manhattan, NY. This role is responsible for providing high-quality client service, including handling daily account inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting clients with transactions, online banking, and product information. The Senior Client Service Associate will support relationship managers, help onboard new clients, prepare and process documentation, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day activities include responding to phone and email inquiries, coordinating with internal teams to address client needs, maintaining accurate records in banking systems, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience. The individual in this role will contribute to Hanover Bank’s service culture by delivering consistent, courteous, and knowledgeable support.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Strong client services and customer service skills, with experience managing client relationships in a banking or financial services environment.
- Customer support capabilities, including issue resolution, handling inquiries, and providing clear guidance on banking products and services.
- Excellent communication skills, including professional verbal and written communication and the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
- Foundational understanding of finance, banking operations, and common retail and commercial banking products.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role within a bank or financial institution is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Manhattan, NY, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency with banking software, CRM tools, and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is beneficial.
