Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a professional AP Specialist to join its team in Columbia, SC . This is a full time permanent/direct hire positions with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant accounting/AP expereince and will have strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Prepare and reconcile deposits
• Review, verify, and process employee expense reports
• Perform routine accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with daily accounting operations and month-end closing processes
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
• Maintain organized documentation and support audit readiness
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting-related questions and issues

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelors degree preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a professional environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
