We believe cannabis can be both fun and functional, and that great customer experiences start with passionate, knowledgeable leaders.Your Role: Dispensary General ManagerAs General Manager, you'll be the driving force behind your store's day-to-day operations and long-term success. You'll lead a high-energy team, inspire top-tier service, and ensure all operations run smoothly and in compliance with Michigan's evolving cannabis regulations. Your leadership will empower your team, satisfy your customers, and support our mission to bring safe, reliable cannabis to every community we serve.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Team DevelopmentBuild, train, coach, and inspire a top-performing retail teamFoster a culture of professionalism, inclusion, and continuous improvementManage performance, delegate tasks, and support employee growth through regular feedback and mentoringHandle recruiting, scheduling, payroll forecasting, performance reviews, and corrective actions as neededOperations & ComplianceOversee all daily operations including inventory management, safety protocols, and POS transactionsMaintain strict compliance with all local, state, and industry regulations (METRC, audits, SOP adherence)Manage online orders and curbside pickups where applicable, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillmentEnsure loss prevention, cash handling procedures, and security protocols are consistently followedSales, Merchandising & Customer ExperienceDeliver exceptional customer service standards and create a welcoming retail atmosphereStrategically merchandise the store to highlight promotions and drive salesUse sales and performance data to motivate staff and optimize store resultsHandle escalated customer concerns and drive repeat business with creative solutionsCross-Department Collaboration & CommunicationPartner with Retail Operations Team, HR, Marketing, Compliance, and Purchasing to align on company-wide goalsCoordinate store-level marketing events and promotions to increase brand visibilityMaintain a strong line of communication with corporate leadership and contribute to strategic planning What We're Looking For:Experience & Skills:3+ years of management experience (Cannabis or retail preferred)2+ years of retail experience with a strong focus on sales and customer serviceStrong understanding of POS systems and seed-to-sale tracking tools (METRC, Dutchie, Flowhub)Google Suite proficiency (Sheets, Docs, Gmail)Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsFamiliarity with inventory controls, scheduling, and basic business reportingCannabis knowledge and comfortable talking about products and the endocannabinoid system (or willingness to learn)Personal Traits:Passionate about cannabis and retail cultureEnergetic, dependable, and solutions- orientedComfortable managing a diverse team and a busy store environmentA natural communicator and problem-solverOther Requirements:Must be 21+ with valid IDReliable transportation and ability to travel within MichiganFlexible availability: evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as neededAbility to stand, walk, kneel, lift up to 40 lbs, and work on a tablet or computer for extended periodsMust pass I-9 verification and any state-required background checks What You'll Get in Return:Competitive Salary $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 + IncentivesFull Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO) after 90 days25% Employee Discount on ProductsCollaborative, mission-driven team cultureLet's Grow TogetherIf you're ready to take the next step in your career with a company that values passion, integrity, and forward-thinking leadership - we want to hear from you.
