Shift: 6:45 AM - 4:15 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Continental Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Holding experience. - Monitoring experience.

Unit Details: - Patient ratio in the cath lab procedural area is 3 staff to 1 patient. - Uses GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab. - Typical procedures include LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests.

Special Requests: - Must be housed within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab.

Shift & Scheduling: - Must take on-call responsibilities with the rest of the team. - On-call is divided evenly through the 4-week schedule, usually 8-12 days. They try to do only one weekend during that 4-week block, but that is not always possible.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

• CI (Cardiac Interventional Radiography) or the alternative certification CV

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification RCES

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
