Event Assistant Student Worker

Student worker position in the Event Management department to assist with the execution of on-campus events. Must be able to lift objects and stand on feet for multiple hours on event days. Must be able to work as a team as well as individually. Must be a current Lipscomb University student. Responsibilities Include: Ability to work well with full-time event staff and other student workers Communicate effectively with Event Managers and team members Positively interact with internal and external clients Assist event team with set-up and tear down of events Arrive promptly on time as scheduled Complete assigned tasks in-office Organize event materials and inventory Maintain a professional manner, including attire, in and out of the office Availability to work nights and weekends Availability to time manage and work potential weekly hours in-office Supports the Event Manager to perform duties on day of event in their absence Includes working ticketing services at non-athletic events May be Federal Work Study eligible.
