That include installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or through work order) in a timely manner and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required. Primary support contact for the building and maintenance of all Windows and Linux servers. In-depth advanced application deployment, upgrades and support for third party applications. Participate in the planning and configuration of business continuity for all departmental applications and servers. Perform tasks related to patch management monthly cycles. What you’ll be responsible for: Server building and maintenance. Workstation and server monthly patch management. Business continuity planning and execution. To assist our users with any logged IT related incident when called upon. Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the end user as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary. To accurately record, update and document requests using the IT ticketing system. Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair for remote users as needed. Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user and network hardware, peripherals devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software and other products in order to deliver required desktop service levels. Collaborate with Technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization’s desktop computing environment. Receive and respond in a timely manner to incoming calls, and work orders regarding desktop problems. If necessary, liaise with third-party support to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and department software. Assist at helpdesk during staff shortage occurrences. Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels of the organization. Recommend and implement upgrades on systems to ensure longevity. Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position. Why You’ll Love Working Here: The pay range for this position is between $25.40 to $40.18 hourly. Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus, 401(k) with an 6% employer match per pay period.
