This position will be located at our Space sector in Redondo Beach, CA.The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Intelligence Systems Division.Roles and ResponsibilitiesSupport recurring business and financial processes and scheduled reporting cycles, including data collection, validation, reconciliation, and reporting, while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are metSupport data flows across systems such as SAP, Cobra, wInsight, and related reporting toolsManage and support Cobra system processes, including updating Cobra code files, implementing and repricing rate files, and validating data used in cost reporting and reconciliation activitiesSupport SAP-related business processes, including the creation and maintenance of networks, WBS elements, IWOs, settlement rules, and related project or cost-structure dataInvestigate data discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and help resolve process or system issuesPrepare recurring and ad hoc reports for business partners, program teams, and leadership using Excel, Power BI, SQL queries, or other reporting toolsParticipate in testing, validation, and implementation of system updates, reporting changes, and process improvementsDocument business processes, standard operating procedures, job aids, and process flows to improve consistency and knowledge sharingPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and support process enhancementsEnsure accuracy and attention to detail in handling sensitive financial and operational dataIndependently manage defined processes, contribute to small projects, and recommend practical improvements to reporting, reconciliation, or workflow efficiencyOther duties as assignedBasic QualificationsBasic Qualifications for an Associate Business Process Analyst:Has completed their bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionHaving majored in bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or similar degree0-2 years of professional experience in business process analysis, financial systems support, reporting, data analysis, or related workRequires an active U.S. Government Top Secret (TS) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of applicationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to learn new systems, business processes, and technical toolsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to work with large datasets and perform basic analysisBasic Qualifications for a Business Process Analyst:Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field0 years of experienceRequires an active U.S. Government Top Secret (TS) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of applicationExperience supporting Cobra administration activities, including rate file updates, code file maintenance, or related cost-system processesExperience working SAP to support project and cost-management processesAbility to analyze workflows, identify gaps, and recommend process improvementsProficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to work with large datasets and perform basic analysisStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to learn new systems, business processes, and technical toolsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesPreferred Qualifications for both levels:Experience working in financial, cost, or project-management environmentsFamiliarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) principles, terminology, and related reporting processesExperience with Power BI, SQL, VBA, Power Query, or other reporting and process automation toolsBackground in government contracting, cost management, or program-finance environmentsSalary Range:Associate Business Process Analyst: $69,000 to $104,000Business Process Analyst: $83,400 to $125,000The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
