Standard Job Description

Join Lockheed Martin's Production Scheduling Team as a Level 2 Production Scheduler. You will own and drive production schedules for multiple programs within the Sunnyvale Product Centers, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on cost, timing, and quality goals. This role also supports long-range capacity planning and strategic demand discussions, providing the visibility and risk mitigation needed to keep projects on track in a fast-paced, team-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build detailed master production schedules (MPS) based on project scope, capacity, and material availability.
• Continuously update schedules to reflect changes in demand, resource constraints, or engineering revisions.
• Align project schedules with supply chain, tooling, and workforce plans.
• Work closely with Manufacturing Project Managers to gather status updates, milestone completions, and change requests.
• Facilitate regular schedule review meetings (e.g., weekly "schedule syncs") with cross functional teams.
• Provide clear, concise schedule reports and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to streamline scheduling processes, tools, and data flows.

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

- Experienced using Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools

- Strong communication skills both written and verbal

- Understanding of Product Structure and scheduling or production planning experience in an manufacturing environment (aerospace, defense, automotive, or similar)

Desired Skills

• 2+ years of scheduling or production planning experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace, defense, automotive, or similar)
• Experience with SAP
• Experience with resource planning and leveling of overallocated resources
• Experience tracking metrics for adherence to schedule

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $74900.00 - $139100.00
