Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities:Primary responsibility for this position will be to support our company project managementstaff.Reports To:Senior Project Manager/ Project ManagerJob summary:This position is responsible for supporting and working with the Project Manager(s) to overseethe dally management, coordination, supervision, and successful completion of projects with ahigh degree of product quality and client satisfaction.General Summary of Duties:Your support will be initiated during preconstruction to groundbreaking and ultimately throughproject completion. We will train you using our company training program, preparing you toperform support services for the assigned Project Manager(s) in the duties listed below.Travel:Travel to job-sites frequently for personnel/job management, progress review, quality controland Project management administration.Responsibilities:Assist in the maintenance of working relationships with clients, consultants and otheragencies pf the project team.• Assist with the procurement of materials and services for projects in progress.• Assist with the distribution of scope of work assignments for each subcontractor &vendor.• Assist PM with subcontract creation process and subcontractor change orderprocess.• Assist PM with overall project accounting and contract change order summationstracking.• Assist in the procurement of contracts with vendors and suppliers.• Assist in the administration and tracking of projects costs Including participation inproject accounting updates, approvals and processes.• Assist in the coordination of all project team members.• Assist in the maintenance of project schedules.• Maintain project communication hierarchy and protocol between project team.• Review projects in field• Quality Control• Assist in the scheduling of and attend all job meeting when necessary. Assist in thecreation of and participate in project closeout procedures.• Review project submittals and administrate overall timeline, procurement, approvalprocess with necessary project stakeholders, maintain log and records for submittals,submittal distribution.• A full knowledge of closeout requirements for each project. Maintaining a closeout listfor each project, then procurement of all closeout Items, Orderly compilation asrequired by end user and transmittal of same to proper project stakeholders in-house personnel
