Night Auditor

Key Responsibilities: - Register guests and handle reservations efficiently during the overnight shift

• Prepare and review daily financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Balance transactions and perform end-of-shift accounting procedures
• Conduct security walks to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property
• Manage front desk operations independently with minimal supervision
• Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Assist with administrative tasks related to night audit processes

Requirements Skills and Qualifications: - At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related hospitality field

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is a plus
• Previous front desk or hotel experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during overnight hours
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting
• Basic knowledge of hotel management software and computer systems- Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to handle routine issues
• Strong oral communication skills and a customer/client-oriented mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Ability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays.
