Systems Administrator II

BI Systems AdministratorThe client is seeking a BI Systems Administrator to be responsible for the administration of core systems as well as monitoring and repair of high-performance computing systems. AWS experience is preferred.Ensures consistent and reliable operation including enterprise servers and network infrastructure.Experience:Experience in BI toolsProvides wide ranging system administration in a multi-platform (Tableau/MicroStrategy/SAP Business Objects) environmentResponsible for general systems administration tasks including system configuration management, OS installations, security updates, urgent system patchingPerforms daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, network disruption awareness and predefined key processesAbility to identify and troubleshoot hardware components that are problematic, reviews system logs, application logs and security logsAWS experience in native services possessing and IT platform implementation is preferredPreferred knowledge in designing and developing integrated solution using the AWS services.Experience in JIRA Administration, analysis, and Agile methodologiesStrong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations.Willing to contribute and build, automate and innovate as a team memberSpecialized:Perform installation, migration and upgrade of Tableau Servers and Desktops under High Availability scenarioPerform performance analysis of existing Tableau Servers and make Best Practice recommendationsConfigure options like SSL, SSO, AD, proxy etc. on the Tableau Server.
