About the Role Our client is looking for a polished and dedicated Guest Relations Manager to enhance the guest experience at their upscale establishment in Welkom . This role is central to ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well-cared for throughout their stay. You will be responsible for managing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly and effectively, and anticipating needs to create memorable experiences. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and a deep understanding of hospitality service standards, contributing to the hotel's reputation for outstanding customer care in the Free State . Key Responsibilities Oversee the guest relations desk, ensuring a warm and efficient welcome and departure for all guests. Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction. Build relationships with guests, anticipating their needs and personalizing their experience. Coordinate with various hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and special arrangements. Maintain guest records and feedback logs, identifying trends and areas for service improvement. Requirements Previous experience in a Guest Relations or similar customer-facing role in hospitality. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. A professional and empathetic demeanor, with a passion for service excellence. Familiarity with hotel operations and reservation systems. Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
