Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact this summer by providing expert speech-language services to students at the intermediate level. This contract assignment runs from June 29th to July 30th and offers a focused, supportive environment at a single school site near Scranton, PA. You’ll work 14 hours weekly, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., delivering vital Extended School Year (ESY) support to help students enhance their communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Pennsylvania
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• DOE certification required
• Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Genuine passion for supporting student growth during ESY placements
• Competence in creating and executing individualized treatment plans

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in an intermediate school setting
• Assess, plan, and implement strategies tailored to individual student needs
• Develop relevant, achievable goals for students and document progress throughout the ESY period
• Collaborate effectively with educators, special services staff, and families
