Custodial Work Supervisor
This is a time limited position. This position is located at the State Veterans Home in Jackson, MS. Custodial work supervisor accountable for overseeing the work of a moderate size cleaning team. Works independently in planning and assigning cleaning and maintenance work, anticipates staffing and cleaning needs. Inspects building areas to ensure work has been done properly. Trains and instructs custodians in cleaning methods. Maintains an inventory of supplies and tools and is responsible for ordering resupply needs.
What you'll need to be successful: Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a cohesive team Preferred Qualifications Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 3-4 years of work experience.
